Long lost friend found!
Just been great this year, digging up friends i have lost touch over the years. Today’s finding — Small Tomoko! This girl has gone through art school with me in Boston, we drew, ate, watched japanese videos, walked around beacon hill, hung out at newbury street, talked about astrology from japanese magazines, teased Mike & Usa her two cats…practically my sister!! She has a baby boy of her own now, incredible! Wonder how a baby can come out of that teeny weeny body of hers! Nonetheless, her daily blabblings can be found here. From my very rough unpolished kindergarten-level japanese, i read she has been taking great care of the little boy. Lucky baby!!!
my obsession with bruce lee
I have this life long obsession with Bruce Lee, his philosophy and his figurines especially. I have a small collection of them and they inspire me. “be like the water” has become an application in life/business for me. My favorite figurines are by Hong Kong artist Eric So. one day i will complete my collection of Eric So’s Bruce Lees. trust me. 
good to see old friends
It’s been like nearly 5 years (?? or more??) since we last saw one another…finally just past this Saturday, Tomok, Ryan and myself crossed paths again! So glad to see them again. Ryan a.ka. Magmo the Destroyer (check out his site ) and Tomok the SilkScreen SuperWhimo Representing Rhodeisland!!
It was only 10 years ago we all eat kimchee at Hun’s, did jager shots, got pissed drunk and slept over at Mike’s house…with Becky peeing in front of me while Mike’s room-mate knocked out in the only bathroom in the house! Damn! seems like just yesterday…sounds cliche but that’s how i feel!!
Tons of memories running through my head…and Small Tomok & Cats…and Jan-Dee – i actually ran into her in Las Vegas one week after 9/11, she was with her husband!…and Eakapotch who is a chef in chi-chi restaurant down in Delaware…
So where’s Becky, Hun and Soucy?!?! How about big hair Coleen with bad perfume & Jill Hood???
summer almost over
it’s the time of the year again, back to school, back to work, back to the cold. i am ready for a fresh start for a new year of great productivity & great returns (in terms of dollars & cents).
